And finally, here are 7 Things About Me that I would like to share...

1.  I love love love love Starbucks, especially mocha frap and hot mocha with 3x shot on busy days.  I'm a proud Starbuholic, and a chocoholic.

2. I'm very flexible. I owe it all to yoga pilates that I'm so busy to do nowadays.

3. My hair is jet black, thanks to my beautiful Filipina mother who had always told me to never color my hair.

4.  I prefer Asian cuisine to just about any other type of food- Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai...

5.  I have five siblings who I love so much - Natalie, Ersa, Neil, Sally, & Dessa.

6.  I heart Korean dramas, especially romantic comedy, and the lessons behind them.  I truly believe in undying love and devotion, that through any trials and tribulations, love conquers all.

7.  In April 2010, I launched Fashion With a Mission, a non-profit organization focusing on providing clothes to orphaned children throughout the globe. The organization is still on its beginning stages, however, I hope to fully establish Fashion with a Mission and encourage fashionistas that “we can make a difference, one trend, one style at a time”.

Love Being a Girl!

March 3rd marked an annual celebration for girls- Hina Matsuri, a Japanese tradition also known as Girl's Day.

A little history for ya:: upon birth, Japanese girls would be given beautiful dolls dressed in kimonos, complete with fans and musical instruments. Young girls would display their dolls, and take them down before March 3, when they would have a special party with great food and gifts for themselves and their dolls. Hundreds of years ago, it was customary in Japan during Hina Matsuri that girls would receive gifts of peach blossoms and paper dolls as a symbolism of a prosperous marriage. In present days, it would be little boxes of delicious mochi or free lunch from a male colleague :)

This year, on Girls Day, I went on Facebook and asked a simple question “What do I like about being a girl?” The answer with the most feedback will receive a pair of earrings from Fashion With A Mission. I decided to ask this question to encourage a positive personal assessment, (since FWM’s purpose is to also bring out the very best potential in anyone and everyone.)

Most people who participate in this type of discussion- a question that requires them to not only think about the answer but also to dig deeper within themselves, and find remarkable characteristics about their selves are more inclined to help others.

Simply because people who acknowledge their worth are more likely to share these positive feelings with others. They have the most potential to inspire and spread goodness around them.

I was appreciative of those who responded, and I wanted to share some comments from the beautiful ladies who show us what it means to have GIRL POWER.

Thank you to the the lovely Kimberly Leong, ever-so-gorgeous Amber Wadtke, oh-so-cute Sierra Felicilda, my darling fashionista Jena Cudera, and my favorite drama class buddy Samantha Williamson.

XOXO Confessions

So I do admit on not being too ecstatic about Valentines day. I'm a simple girl. I don't need to be told I'm loved and appreciated on that one day when the rest of the world is doing it too. I don't want my lover to feel like he is obligated. That he has to buy me chocolate, or that he has to give me flowers just because it's Feb. 14. I am not an obligation, thankyouverymuch. And for those of you who are single, don't be too sad if you're alone today.

Although my darlings, I very much agree that there are some advantages to the marketing schemes of St. Valentine. First, there's the overwhelming use of the color pink (and red, too, but I don't care for red. I heart pink) The power of pink is deeply appreciated by both genders, seen in almost everything girly you can imagine- flowers, balloons, sweets, potted plants, stuffed animals and of course....lingerie....Oh how feminine. Not to mention, also the fabulous sales on lingerie for V-day. Specifically VS lingerie.

Speaking of which, VS posted a playful interview with their gorgeous angels (in their sexy lingeries) in observation of today's Honeyday. Ooops, I mean “holiday.”

Too cute. These ladies are so gorgeous and flawless, it's funny to think of them being awkward in any situation.

I confess to having my first kiss as being much like Erin Heatherton's, minus the gum actually being caught in my hair. I had to laugh after hearing her story. I'm surprised that didn't happen to me yet, I have twice as much hair as she does.
I also confess to loving and enjoying kissing more than anything. Yes, I'm a prude so what.


Kissing is sweeter, more passionate, heartmelting and soul-filling than anything else. You feel a deep connection with that other person- a spark so electrifying its ecstacy.

I can kiss for days.

Anywhere up high, close to a brightly shining moon and twinkling stars. Someday I'd like to go up Mauna Kea in the second week of August during the Perseid meteor shower and have a dramatic kissing scene with my lover ;) The kiss will be so dramatic, Nicholas Sparks will steal my idea and include it in a tearjerker movie starring Rachel McAdams.

I'd love to kiss in the rain too.
